The Practice Nurses
Our practice nurses work in the surgery, and deal with minor injuries, dressings, ear syringing, vaccinations, cervical smears, etc. They run Well Man and Well Woman clinics and help look after patients with long term illnesses, including asthma, heart disease and diabetes. They can organise tests for diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol and many other conditions.

The Receptionists
There are 6 receptionists and 1 Practice Manager working at the Little Surgery.
They deal with all your queries, give information, make appointments, and organise repeat prescriptions. They are also responsible for the running of the surgery, secretarial and general administrative work.
Mrs Lyn Waterhouse is our practice manager.
Mrs Gail Windsor is our senior receptionist and our deputy practice manager.
Mrs Lynette Naylor is a senior receptionist and our finance manager.
Mrs Christine Frith works in reception and manages the dispensary.
Mrs Kay Thompson works in reception and runs our immunisation and cervical smear system.
Mrs Donna Fowler and Mrs Linda Fenn work in the reception area.
The District Nurses
These nurses will visit patients who need nursing services in their own homes. Messages for them can be left at the practice.The Health Visitor
Our health visitor is Mrs Judith SommersShe provides help, support, and practical advice for young families. She visits children at home and also runs a weekly child health clinic at the Surgery on a Friday afternoon. She is based at Stamford Health Clinic and be contacted between 9:00am and 10:00am by telephoning 01780 762906.
The Midwives
Karen Aldiss and Sarah Bodily are our community midwives. They run an ante-natal clinic every Monday lunch at the surgery and visit women with their new babies at home. The midwives can be contacted through our receptionists.The Counsellor
Our practice counsellor is Mrs Pat Shough. She sees patients who need help in a crisis, after referral by one of the doctors.The Phlebotomist
Angela Morgan is our practice phlebotomist. She takes blood for routine blood testing and helps us to monitor patients with long term conditions.Others
